Music & Sound Designer
Ameen comes from a diverse background heavily devoted to music and audio post. His interest spawns from his West Virginian roots, where he first started composing and performing music with his mates in a town called Nitro.
After taking a different turn and getting a BS in Business at IU Bloomington, Ameen continued to pursue his interest in audio by recording hip-hop artists while working as a technical consultant at a factory in Chicago. His days would be filled with getting yelled at in Vietnamese and his evenings would consist of walking around and recording samples with a cheap microphone and an MPC.
Ameen’s background in business and recording eventually brought him to the field of audio post and led him to the coldest place on the planet. After years of working at various studios, he eventually opened his own audio post facility. Loads of sound design, voiceover, and mix sessions later, Ameen wandered into Aaron/Stokes. When not at Aaron/Stokes, he composes and records music under the name ‘Dulla’ and has an unhealthy obsession with tennis.
Ameen says he lives across the street, but we can spot him driving to work.
